We propose several options for accommodations, based on the proximity to the pool and food access. Organisers will direct managers towards the best option for their teams, but the responsibility is on managers to book directly with the proposed accommodations and federations will be responsible for contracts and finalizing details with the proposed

Federations who wish to book accommodations separately from the organising committee will be able to do so, but in that case, as described in the CMAS procedures document on hosting a World Championship:
  1. the organising committee does not guarantee transportation to and from accommodation
  2. the federation might be charged an administrative fee per participant.

Accommodation at the Summer Housing of Université Laval, which is on campus, a 10 minute walk to the tournament pool (see map below @ “Résidences”). We obtained a written guarantee to secure accommodations for 350 participants. Breakfast is included and served between 7:00 am and 9:00 am. Meals or lunch boxes may also be reserved based on team’s preference for an additional fee. Free Wi-Fi. Shared kitchen, washroom, playroom and living room at disposal. Hôtel Universel (3 stars). A 5 minutes walk to the pool (see map below). The hotel’s restaurant can accommodate up to 200 people and fees for breakfast and dinner can be included if needed. Free Wi-Fi. The hotel has extensive experience in hosting athletes from such events including UWH tournaments.

  • Hilton Hotel: (4 stars), $215 per night. Located downtown, a 20-minute drive to the pool.

  • Hotel Sepia: 4-star hotel, much closer to the pool. Outdoor pool, a gym, free Wi-Fi and free parking. $167 per night. http://hotelsepia.ca

  • Options for housing providing cooking facilities were restricted for this period. We therefore encourage teams to look on Air BnB to secure accommodations where cooking facilities are included, such as small apartments or houses.
